The Houston Astros needed a win in Game 4 of the 2022 World Seriesan event in which they surprised Philadelphia Phillies advancing early by stealing a game in Texas and another in Pennsylvania.
It was Cristian Javier who took charge for the Astros in Game 4and he did not disappoint: the Dominican launched a real gemwhich will undoubtedly be written down in the history books of the autumn classic.
But outside of him, his teammate Yuli Gurriel, who is having one of the best playoffs of his career, has a leading role in the postseason. equaling the record… held by his manager when he was a player!

The Cuban has made 46 plate appearances so far, where while he hasn’t shown all of his at-bat abilities, he hasn’t allowed pitchers to outsmart him with their speeds or curves so far, placing a large 0 like a house in the strikeout column.
This is the longest streak in season history since his manager, Dusty Baker, did the same in the 1981 postseason.. Only four players, including him in 2019, had more consecutive shutouts.
