More than 20 years ago, they fought a custody battle, she won it and allegedly decided to prevent her son from seeing his father:
“I found out that he studied piano, I found out that he studied karate from a gossip magazine, and that was very painful for me, and that’s why I admit that I have a lot of regret because I missed my son’s entire childhood,” Derbez revealed years later, bitter because he lost José’s childhood.
But now Ruffo could fulfill his ex’s wish, after the serious accident he experienced.
A wish that Ruffo will fulfill
“Everybody in their place,” Victoria declared after the media asked her about reconciling with her ex and whether she would sit with him at her son José Eduardo’s future wedding. This after it was revealed that with Derbez’s recent accident, Ruffo was interested in his health.
“Life changes, it happens, you have to mature”, concluded Ruffo and made it clear that she was no longer angry and that she would do Eugenia that “favor”.
