Synopsis de Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
Satoru Mikami, 37, is a typical company employee who is perfectly content with his monotonous lifestyle in Tokyo, except that he has never gotten a girlfriend in his life. In the middle of a chance meeting with a colleague, he becomes the victim of a random robber on the street and is stabbed. However, as he succumbs to his injuries, a strange voice echoes in his mind, speaking a series of commands that the dying man cannot understand. When Satoru regains consciousness, he discovers that he has been reincarnated as a slime in an unknown kingdom. In doing so, he gains new abilities, most notably the power to devour anything and mimic its appearance and abilities.
He then encounters a sealed disaster-level monster “Storm Dragon” Veldor, which has been sealed away from rampaging through the city for the past 300 years. Realizing his situation, Satoru befriends him and promises to help him destroy the seal. In return, Veldora gives him the name Rimuru Tempest to grant him divine protection. Now freed from the mundanity of his past life, Rimuru embarks on a new journey with a clear goal in mind. As he gets used to his new physique, his gooey antics spread across the world, gradually changing his destiny.
