Relevant and high-quality research at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, UJED
As part of the Institutional Doctoral Program in Agricultural and Forestry Sciences (PIDCAF), research professors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of the University of Juárez in the state of Durango work hand in hand with students on various research projects.
One line of work that stands out is that related to sustainable livestock production, dealing with various topics such as improvement and alternatives to animal feed, as well as pasture land use planning, ecological studies of fauna, to name a few.
Martín Emilio Pereda Solís, Francisco Óscar Carrete Carreón, Elia Esther Araiza Rosales, Gerardo Antonio Pámanes Carrasco and Manuel Murillo Ortiz are some of the researchers from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics who form part of the core of the doctoral program.
The doctorate is characterized by excellent research work that has maintained it as a quality program; with the commitment of researchers and students from different fields that make up the program.
Aixa Najla Bujdud León, José Manuel Loera Sánchez, Elizabeth Yazmín García Piña, Raúl Alejandro Cuevas Jáquez, Óscar Fabián Aguirre Córdova, Rocío Aidé Carrasco Rubio and Karina Aidé Araiza Ponce are some of the students who are part of the PhD in different semesters.
