Eiza González continues to confirm her star status Hollywood because she was chosen for the lead role in the director’s new film Guy Ritchie next to “Superman” himself, Henry Cavill. The film will be action and espionage, and will be set in World War II.

As stated by the portal Deadline, Eiza Gonzalez and a British actor will act in the film “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” and filming is expected to begin next January in Turkey.

The film will be inspired by true events and will describe the British Prime Minister’s secret fighting organization from World War II Winston Churchill and from Ian Flemingthe creator of James Bond, where the secret squad fought against the Nazis Adolfo Hitler with rather radical and violent war strategies, but this helped to turn the battle in favor of the Allies.

Eiza Gonzalez, who recently starred in Michael Bay’s “Ambulance,” will play a military sniper with extraordinary espionage skills. This new project of the actress is added to the Netflix sci-fi film “The Three-Body Problem” and “Extrapolations” for Apple TV +.

At the moment, the names of their characters have not been revealed, as pre-production has just begun, but more information is expected in the coming months.

“Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” is not in the hands of any production company, it was rumored to be produced and distributed by Paramount, given producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s relationship with the company, but information from Deadline says that will no longer be the case. Black Bear Entertainment, which is financing the project, is looking for a studio to get involved in the film.
