The Argentinian midfielder will become the cement company’s first signing for the 2023 Clausura next week.
Cruz Azul and Atlético Tucumán reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Ramiro Carrera to the cement plant. The Argentine midfielder will become the first reinforcement of the light blues next week ahead of the next Clausura in 2023. According to various sources, the South American will arrive in Mexico on November 8.
The portal Bolavip reported that Carrera’s contract with Cruz Azul will be for three years and until 2025, similar to the contract Carlos Rotondi signed a few months ago when he came to strengthen Diego Aguirre’s team.
Nahuel Ferreira, Argentinian journalist specializing in the transfer market, revealed the amounts in which the transaction was agreed and the obvious figures are inappropriate for today’s times. Accustomed to talking about millions and bonuses for player transfers, we could consider the Race for Cruz Azul a real trifle.
“There is FULL agreement for Ramiro Carrera to be the new REINFORCEMENT of #CruzAzul who he buys from #AtleticoTucuman 50% of chips in 1.3MDD (in two payments), the other 50% belongs to the player himself, The dean will take care of the transfer taxes, he will sign for 3 years.”wrote the South American communicator on his social networks.
The arrival of Carrera presents a problem that will have to be solved from the front office. The former Atlético Tucumán takes the position of a foreigner, the same one that is filled in Raúl Gutiérrez’s current team. Ángel Romero or Iván Morales – or both – are prime candidates to leave La Maquina in the coming days…or months.
