AEW Rampage November 4, 2022: Coverage and Results

Episode summary

Mike Tyson was set up at the commentary table to take part in the first fight of the day.

– Orange Cassidy defeated Katsuyori Shibata retain the AEW Atlantic Championship. Cassidy escapes a leg lock and throws his opponent out of the ring for a third rope dive. Shibata recovers and knocks the champion into the barricades. Both men return to the ring with damage on top and the broadcast breaks to commercials. Orange stands up and delivers his death blows. His opponent responds by throwing him to the canvas. Both get into position and test the resistance with punches, but Orange doesn’t seem to be trying too hard. The champion counters his opponent’s punches and escapes from the Octopus Stretch for his Slumdog Millionaire. Shibata connects with a Death Valley Driver and runs but gets taken down with an Orange Punch and Cassidy keeps the three.

Tony Storm expresses disappointment backstage at watching Britt Baker manipulate Jamie Hayter. He explains that in Full Gear, Hayter herself will be the one to take responsibility for what happens from here on out.

Blackpool Fight Club they also give an interview backstage. Claudio Castagnoli warns that he will take revenge for the title very soon. Bryan Danielson is also looking for his chance, prompting William Regal to challenge Chris Jericho to “pick your poison” for full equipment.

Toa Liona gets the upper hand by biting off Joe’s ear before the final commercial break. Wardlow takes over and looks dominant over his two opponents. Toa manages to do something to him before Samoa Joe catches him at ringside. Kaun takes over the symphony Powerbomb that brings victory to the team of television champions.

Powerhouse Hobbs He confronted Wardlow after the match, declaring his intentions to go after the TNT Championship to shut down the Rampage.
